Since 1983 ABC, as the locals refer to it, has been a trademark of fine, yet casual dining. ABC features made-from-scratch breads, muffins, coffee cakes and pastries as well as an award-winning selection of desserts from our pastry chef. ABC was featured on Food Network’s “$40 a Day” starring Rachael Ray. Rachael enjoyed the Polenta Pancakes with Warm Berry Sauce which helped give this little European style café some national attention. Ashland Bisto Café offers a full breakfast menu including: Omelets, Frittatas, Scrambles, as well as our signature dishes like the Polenta Pancakes, Lemon Ricotta Stuffed French Toast, House-Made Granola and Sweet Potato Hash Topped with Crème Fraiche. A full assortment of espresso drinks is available from expert baristas using organic coffees from local roaster Noble Coffee Roasting. The lunch menu is chock full of healthful and filling salads, soups, sandwiches, paninis and pizzas. Of course there are many items to choose from for the vegetarian and vegan. The dinner menu is “American Cuisine with a Mediterranean Splash”. Nightly specials are offered in addition to the core menu and everthing on our menus is available for take-out.
